San Lorenzo is a hill in Verduno next to that of Monvigliero, with the same type of soil, but slightly less elevated and not quite so steep. The wine that originates here is considered finer and more feminine. A very complex and balanced Barolo that brings out the typical floral sensations of the Nebbiolo grape. The palate is elegant and harmonious with tannins that are usually quite sweet and smooth.

Gramolere is a cru in the municipality of Monforte dAlba, situated between Gavarini and Bussia. Its structure and character are considered synonymous with the Barolo of Monforte. Alongside these characteristics, the wine from this particular hillside expresses delicate scents of aromatic herbs that blend with classic and complex notes of leather and liquorice.

Monvigliero hill is historically recognised as the grand cru of Verduno and one of the most representative of the entire Barolo area. Our vineyard is over 35 years old and is situated at an altitude of about 320 metres, facing south. It produces an austere but elegant wine, distinguished by aromatic complexity and depth of flavour.

In this version, aged in steel and concrete, all the fruit and fragrance of the Barbera grape emerge to perfection. It expresses all the youthful energy and vitality of this great traditional Piedmontese wine.
