A rich and intense red wine on the nose, with hints of ripe berries, black cherry, plum and dark cherry. This is followed by tertiary components of liquorice, resin, graphite and black pepper. It is warm, round and slightly tasty on the palate, guided by an elegant and powerful tannic texture, which contributes to a persistent and brilliant character.

Bright, ruby garnet. Unmistakable bouquet, very pleasant, intense yet ethereal, very persistent, at times spiced, with aromas of truffles, liquorice and dried flowers. Dry, with important tannins.

Garnet red with orange reflections. Aromatic and intense perfume with scents of all oriental spices of which the wine is made up. The persistence of the flavour ensures a last pleasantly bitter note because of the gentian root.

Cannubi is considered the Grand Cru vineyard for the Barolo, an extraordinary wine in terms of style and elegance. The absolutely high quality of the grapes picked on the Cannubi hill is the result of a unique land composition: an unevolved soil with clay-rich marl, grey and white on the surface. The soil in which the Damilano vines are found features a high percentage of sand (up to 45%) that gives the grapes intense aromas of cherry, plum and tobacco, rose and violet in sequence.

Cerequio is a vineyard located in the town of La Morra, protected from cold winds. The soils are composed of sand, silt, and clay that give tannic, robust, powerful wines. The rows of vines are located at above 320 metres above sea level and face east. The olfactory bouquet of this cru is rich and complex: cherry, violet, and balsamic notes with refined hints of vanilla and liquorice together with withered rose and goudron.

The 'Barolo Riserva Cannubi 1752' was produced with the 2008 harvest when the Damilano family decided to relaunch the historic core of its Cannubi vineyards in the highest and centermost part of the hill. It is a small plot of about 2 hectares of Nebbiolo vines between 30 and 50 years of age. Since the harvest mentioned, the 1752 has been considered a Reserve wine.

It takes the name from the royal farmhouse at the bottom of the vineyard, located in Paiagallo M.G.A. on a tongue of land rich in silt, sand and clay. A Barolo with aromas of small red fruits and reminiscent of blackberries. A full body wine, with sweet tannins and long finish.
