Villa Antinori is, first and foremost, an idea, a way of conceiving wine production: as experimentation and evolution on the one hand, as the historical value on the other. Sangiovese and other complementary varieties pay homage to a historic label and a wine with a long tradition: this name has, in fact, almost a hundred years of history and was first produced in the 1928 vintage. With the inauguration of the Antinori winery in Chianti Classico, the company wished to reinterpret a Tuscan classic through a delicate and, at the same time, decisive and elegant Riserva.

The Chianti Rùfina di Selvapiana is mainly obtained from Sangiovese grapes with small additions of Canaiolo, Colorino and Malvasia Nera grapes, partially harvested by hand between the end of September and the first week of October.

Vigna di Sessina is made using the best selection of grapes from its namesake vineyard, part of the Dievole estate. The fossil-rich soil, originating from a Macigno sandstone bestows the wine with a unique elegance and freshness.

The medieval Stomennano borgo's timeless appeal is well protected by ancient walls of the neighboring town of Monteriggioni. This red, produced with sangiovese, colorino and merlot grapes has a rich red color, spicy and harmonious bouquet, with round and enveloping flavor.

Ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromatic in the opening, marked by evidence of bitter orange, violet and aromatic herbs, wrapped in hints of undergrowth and light memories of liquorice in the finish. In the mouth, it is dominated by a tasty freshness and a defined tannin, followed by an inviting progression on a citrus path.

The name 'Gineprone' refers to the aromatic herb called Juniper. It reveals how this Chianti wine from the hills of Siena reminds the consumer of all the herbs and spices typical of the Mediterranean undergrowth.
