Favoured by excellent weather, the harvest in South Tyrol has brought high quality wine grapes: ripe, undamaged, with a sugar content higher than average and good acidity. A harvest of this level has all the credentials to give the 2009 title of "historic vintage", punctuated by high-class labels. White wines in general have very clean flavors, good structure and good flavor. Even red wines, thanks to intense days of sun and dry climate that has characterized the months prior to the collection, touching tips of true excellence.

Typically ruby to garnet red in colour. Bouquet of violets and blackberries with hints of cherry and earthy notes. It is a full-bodied wine, which on the palate tastes of raspberries, dark cherries, bittersweet chocolate, black liquorice and spices, supported by a powerful tannic structure and a long finish.
