This is a very funny book. From the Foreword entitled A Guide to Apportioning Blame throughout such insightful topics as the use of aids, equipment, history, costs of the sport and physical fitness required (none of which are presented in a manner that would be recognized by readers of any other book on dressage), the reader is in for a laugh-out-loud treat. Margaret Odgers has been there and what makes her material so screamingly funny is the core of Absolute Truth that runs through the book. Eva Sandor's charming cartoons alone are worth the purchase price.
