Gli atti di convegno, in particolare, intendono affrontare diversi aspetti connessi alla guerra che l'imperatore mosse contro Venezia fra 1509 e 1516, la stessa che porterà il Tirolo a raggiungere quei confini che avrebbe mantenuto - tranne brevi interruzioni - per quattro secoli fino alla fine della Prima Guerra mondiale.
