Odile fue diagnosticada de cancer de ovario con metastasis en 2010. Tras el shock que supuso la noticia de su diagnostico comenzo a buscar toda la informacion referente a la relacion cancer-alimentacion. Su formacion en medicina supuso una gran ayuda para tal empresa. Descubrio que existe una intima relacion entre el cancer y una alimentacion deficiente -relacion ampliamente documentada por estudios cientificos- pero al mismo tiempo se dio cuenta que la alimentacion apenas se tenia en cuenta en el tratamiento convencional. Tras el tercer ciclo de quimioterapia y cuidando al maximo la alimentacion, el cancer habia desaparecido.
