Bruning was a student of Dennis Sandole who was also John Coltrane's teacher. Warburton was self taught and learned to play practicing to the solos of Red Mitchell and Ray Brown. Warburton toured with Bill Evans in the 70's. This wonderful recording has never been released on CD and there were only 900 copies pressed back in 1987. Pressed on virgin vinyl by Wakefield Manufacturing.
