Si son livre deplait en haut-lieu car il est sans concessions sur la guerre que menent les Britanniques, il fait remarquer le jeune soldat par le chef du parti conservateur, lord Salisbury, qui le trouve admirablement ecrit et lui a beaucoup appris. The group of 257 coins, known as the Malakand hoard named after its presumed find-spot, belongs to two dynasties, Indo-Scythian.
