Questo vino antico e anacronistico rappresenta la sua più profonda eredità: un bianco senza denominazione né annata, ottenuto senza fortificazione come invece previsto dal disciplinare del Marsala, che racconta di un tempo che non c’è più, di abitudini, paesaggi, colori, tradizioni e sapori oggi scomparsi. Il nome evoca la storica Contrada Samperi, dove le vecchie viti ad alberello, piantate tra il 1970 e il 1996, sono radicate su un terreno pianeggiante sabbioso e calcareo, esposte ai venti che vengono dal mare. In cantina il frutto delle uve, sottoposte a pressatura soffice, fermenta spontaneamente in vecchie botti di legno a temperatura ambiente, senza aggiunta di solfiti e senza additivi.
